We can make changes happen

During my placement I earned so much experiences about EA's role, that by applying them in my future carrier I can get a successful educator and make big changes in education of especial need students.

The first and very important outcome of my placement is that being positive about what we do as EAs and having an accepting and positive attitude toward our student have a great impact on ourselves, our colleagues and our students. Another precious lesson I have learned in my placement is that each and every student is unique and we can not have the same expectation of our student even if they are diagnosed with the same disorder. I worked with a few students all on Spectrum but they did  not have the same characteristic or learning styles and symptoms. I found it critical to spend a good time on observing and studying each student  in order to make the suitable  plan that support our student best to reach their highest potential.

We as educators can make changes happen, by being patient and consistent in our working with students. It does not always go at our expected or desired pace but we should be positive and keep going. According to my experience in my field placement, mood changing can happen in spec students very often, some days we see so much successes and some days nothing progressive in the same student but, we should not give up trying. I saw very good outcomes after a few weeks of trying and doing the same works with my students although it took a big time and effort, it happened finally and I appreciate that.
